Time to catch up!

So its been a while since I posted last and I don't really have anything big but just a few smaller things. The other night Rory met one of his selling goals and so we went out to dinner at Pappadouz(?) and we ordered Alligator! it was very good the way it was cooked. Its a little more chewy than chicken but very good. I forgot to tell the story in the reunion section about how mom fell down the stairs and gave herself a black eye! How could I forget! We were getting ready for church and was going to head downstairs, she lost her footing and fell probably 10 stairs down. It probably was one of the scarier 'what do I do' moments I've had in my life. she had some amazing bruises on her hips and was of course very sore the next morning but her biggest injury was her glasses cut her right under her eyebrow and she got a lovely shiner. These pictures I have aren't the worst of them but will give you the basic idea. Isn't she lovely!
And this is in the healing stages if you can believe it!

This is Shaylee in one of my favorite places to put her...the Laundry basket! It is so convenient! I can put her in it with her toys and just pack her and them with me around the house. As an added bonus all her toys stay right there with her and she doesn't roll away from them and if she were to get tipsy and fall over she wouldn't hit her head on the tile. It's pretty much the greatest!
Normally when I put Shaylee in her bed this is how it looks. I tuck the blankets down underneath the mattress so she can't kick them off but apparently she had a wild night one night because this is how I found her the next morning...(yes she went the whole night without wanting to eat) She never made a peep!

The blankets are still tucked in...

Shaylee thinks she is big enough to crawl and she has been working on it for the last couple of weeks but whenever she gets up on her hands and knees she falls on her belly. It is super cute and I can't wait. We decided that we are going to teach her sign language so we started that 2 nights ago. We are trying to teach her the sign for More. We'll let ya know how that goes. This is just a cool picture of Mason and his fish. He went fishing with Zach, Wesley and Creighton while we were at the Eyring reunion and this is one of his prizes for the day.
